New Beginnings

Well its 2009 now. A whole new year. From what I understand from most people, they didn't like 2008 all that much. Yeah, neither did I. Its already been a week into the new year and only now have I decided that I want to make new year resolutions.

I feel so up in the air about this year that I didn't know what to resolve. The last couple of days have been tough and it got me thinking. I don't like being miserable for whatever reasons, so I came up with a few resolutions. This is a new year, which means new opportunities and new beginnings. I love new beginnings. They are a chance to start again and cleanse yourself of all the negatives. I am going to be more positive about everthing in my life. When I apply for a job I'm not going to be negative and think that they won't accept me, I am going to think 'I am going to get this job, and if I don't, well they don't know what they are missing'.

I want to keep a blog. I want to have a record of all my positive thoughts to help me through the dark moments, and if I can help anyone out there do the same it will be entirely worth it.

Basically my goals for this year are: Get a job, get a car, get fit, get accepted into the Airforce and into Signals Operations as a linguist, pass my university units, and have fun.

I've been reading a few other girl's blogs, no doubt I'll mention them later, but specifically I've been reading Gala Darling's Icing and all her wonderfull affirmations for the new years. You should check out her page, its so pretty...
